#3 Pveik

After trying apple with pear, which led to the pear being barely present, it was time to try a 100% pear based kveik melomel.

This recipe lists only deviations from the Base Mead workflow. Follow the Base Mead procedure and ingredient list, applying the deviations below.

  • Juice: Use 15 L of pear juice composed entirely of mixed hazy (cloudy unfiltered) pear juices.

Semi-Dry

A semi-dry melomel, with soft clear pear notes and a much softer palate than apple.
